The Automatic Application of GRIPSHEETS® This practical example of the auto application of Loadlock GRIPSHEETS® exists somewhere in Europe, in a company operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with 8 Manieri automatic palletisers. The whole operation is neatly designed to fit into a small space, and run effectively while fully guarded, with minimal operator input. This series of photographs demonstrates the multifunction capability of the palletisers and the excellent placement of GRIPSHEETS® onto a variety of pre-packaged consumer products. The head assembly has been constructed with a Venturi vacuum assembly, and has eight suction heads fitted with natural rubber cups to ensure perfect contact every time. The suction heads are arranged in two rows of four and the photographs demonstrate the secure grasp this arrangement provides. All the components in the head assembly are manufactured by Coval vacuum handling, who are represented in the United Kingdom by Vacucom Limited. The GRIPSHEETS® used throughout this company are GRIPSHEET® 2, based on 90 gsm base paper, with alternate bands (AD) of dots of a polymeric resin.
